    homemade flapjacks

A commendable fit for a couple of nights in Masham with good value for cost. Sarah's homemade flapjacks were the highlight of my stay, delicious! Definitely try to ask about local walks and places to eat.

We truly enjoyed staying here, the place met standards. Deluxe king room with a stunning view was the best. It was an amazing location close enough to the local pub, Yorkshire and beautiful surroundings...

The location was secluded, fantastic to awake to the sounds of the chickens on a working farm was idyllic. The room was bright and quiet, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable, will be back.

    accommodation appeal
    snacks variety
    lounge space

fine views across the valley, quiet and clean accommodation, excellent WiFi throughout

While the ambiance is lovely, I found the lounge area a bit cramped for unwinding after a long day!!! A greater variety of local snacks would really enhance the experience!!!

    homemade tea
    comfy bed

The views from my room were amazing, and Sarah's warm welcome with homemade tea and cakes by the log fire made for a good start. The breakfast was packed with locally sourced goodies, and the comfy bed ensured a refreshing night's sleep. Truly a perfect retreat for a couple exploring the Yorkshire Dales!

    charming garden
    homemade preserves
    attentive housekeeping
    limited snack options

The charming garden area was perfect, and breakfast with homemade preserves (particularly the thick bacon!) was a good highlight. Housekeeping was attentive, our stay felt extra special.

A bit more variety in the snack options for packed lunches would have been appreciated.

    delicious cake
    beautiful garden
    comfy lounge
    slow wi-fi

We had a lovely stay with a warm welcome and delicious coffee and cake by the fire after a long day exploring. The beautiful garden and comfy lounge were perfect spots to relax. Just a minor note, the Wi-Fi was a bit slow, but it didn't really take away from the overall charm. Don't miss the homemade flapjacks!

    fine views
    tasty breakfast
    traffic noise
    cool temperature
    limited amenities

The views from our spacious Beautiful Double Room were amazing. Enjoying delicious whole wheat bread rolls at breakfast was a good treat, along with the attentive service. While the rural charm was appealing, occasional noise from nearby traffic slightly interrupted the tranquility. Additional heating in the room would have enhanced comfort during our chilly stay.
